Moonraker Boats

Sarah came to us after her book website was no longer available online and she was being charged heavily by her existing provider. We used the Wayback Machine to recover her old content, moved her over to Blueprint Web hosting, and rebuilt the site with a more modern layout — all focused on selling her book.

Moonraker Boats Website

Project Overview

A recreation of Sarah's original site with a modern refresh — we used the Wayback Machine to recover the content, then rebuilt it on a clean one-page layout designed around book sales.

Challenge

Sarah's website had gone offline and was no longer accessible, and she was still being charged heavily by her existing provider. She needed her site back up and a simpler, more affordable way to keep it running.

Technology

WordPress, Blueprint Web Hosting, Custom Theme, ACF, PayPal Integration

Results

Sarah went from an offline, overpriced website to a live, modern book sales page — with her original content preserved, hosted with us, and easy to manage going forward.

Solution

We used the Wayback Machine to track down Sarah's old site content, migrated her domain and hosting to Blueprint Web, and rebuilt the site with a fresh modern layout — keeping her original content while giving it a much cleaner feel.

Development Process

A complete redesign and rebuild focused on improving the user experience, purchase flow, and search visibility.

1

Discovery

We worked with Sarah to understand what she'd had before and what she wanted going forward. Using the Wayback Machine, we tracked down the old site content so nothing was lost in the rebuild.

2

Design

We designed a modern one-page layout using Sarah's recovered content — giving the site a fresh, clean look while keeping the focus on the book and making it easy for visitors to buy.

3

Development

We rebuilt the site on WordPress using our custom Blueprint theme, integrated PayPal for purchases, and set everything up on our hosting before migrating Sarah's domain across.

4

Launch

Once everything was tested and the domain pointed over, we launched the site and handed Sarah full access — with ongoing hosting and support in place.

Key Features

Built lean and purposeful — one page, one goal, and everything pointing the reader toward buying the book.

Feature 01

Simple One-Page Design

The entire site is a single focused page — introducing the book, the author, and giving visitors a clear reason to buy. No distractions, no unnecessary clicks.

  • Clean layout built around the book
  • Author bio and book description above the fold
  • Designed to convert visitors into buyers
Feature 02

PayPal Buy Button Integration

PayPal handles all purchases — visitors can buy directly from the page without needing an account or going through a complex checkout. It's quick, trusted, and familiar to buyers.

  • Direct PayPal checkout — no cart required
  • Familiar and trusted payment experience
  • Easy to manage and update
Feature 03

Hosting Migration & Cost Saving

We moved Sarah's domain and hosting from her previous overpriced provider to Blueprint Web — cutting her ongoing costs and giving her a reliable, supported home for the site going forward.

  • Domain transferred to Blueprint Web hosting
  • Significantly reduced monthly running costs
  • Ongoing support included as standard
