We designed and built a new WordPress website for the charity that celebrates the almshouse's history, puts it back on Google and makes it simple for prospective residents to find information and apply online.
Project Overview
A new nine-page WordPress website for Newbury Church & Almshouse Charity, giving the almshouse a modern look that reflects its history, restoring its visibility on Google and moving the paper application online.
Challenge
The charity's 2017 site carried a noindex/nofollow tag, so it never appeared in Google. Content was outdated and applying meant printing and posting a paper form.

The result is a clean, modern website that shows off the almshouse's history while making it much easier for residents, applicants and their families to find the information they need.
